We’re proud to support three important charities: Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust, Asthma and Lung UK, and The Renewal Trust. Each plays a crucial role in improving our community and environment.

Why do we support Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust?
Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust is the county’s leading conservation charity dedicated to persevering and improving our local natural environment. Their work in conservation, habitat restoration, and community engagement aligns closely with our core values of responsibility and care. As a charity that depends on local community support, they focus on safeguarding wildlife and green spaces, and we are proud to contribute to their mission.
Our involvement
Over the years, we have supported Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust through various activities. Our team have attended the local nature reserve in Nottingham, where we planted trees and maintained wildlife habitats. Additionally, we have launched our cycle-to-work scheme, promoting sustainable transportation and environmental awareness. We continually seek out new challenges for our team, such as the 10-mile Ultra Challenge in Bakewell, UK, which we completed, pushing our limits while raising funds for our local community.

Why do we support Asthma and Lung UK?
Asthma and Lung UK are at the forefront of research and support for individuals affected by respiratory diseases. A charity that prioritises lung health through better understanding, research, treatment, and support, fundamentally changing the way lung health is perceived. At Copley, we work closely with companies and governing bodies to improve the lives of millions of people suffering from lung conditions. Sharing the same goal, we are committed to supporting their mission.
Our involvement
We actively participate in annual events such as the Robin Hood Half Marathon and the Business Fives Charity Football Tournament to support Asthma and Lung UK, raising awareness about their mission. These events have become a significant part of the Copley calendar, reinforcing our commitment to contribute to this cause.

Why do we support The Renewal Trust?
The Renewal Trust is a nationally recognised regeneration charity based in Nottingham, dedicated to working with communities to share knowledge, expertise, and foster meaningful relationships. They focus on exploring opportunities and unlocking potential in areas such as employability, wellbeing, community spaces, and activities.
Our involvement
Our team visited The Renewal Trusts community hub, Cherry Lodge, in Nottingham, where we spent two weeks painting, cleaning, and assisting in general upkeep. Transforming an old and tired building into a bright and vibrant community hub, both internally and externally. The Renewal Trust now have a well-organised facility to continue supporting the local communities, ensuring a warmer and more welcoming environment.
